LCP KNIGHTS 12U Surge Past Ctx Wolfpack Thanks To Big Second Inning

LCP KNIGHTS 12U defeated Ctx Wolfpack 12-6 on Sunday thanks in part to 11 runs in the second inning. Carson S drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Liam E grounded out, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Zaccai D singled, scoring one run, Breck R singled, scoring one run, Auggy M doubled, scoring two runs, Lowell K grounded out, scoring one run, and Gunner W induced Miles V to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

Ctx Wolfpack got on the board in the first inning after an error scored one run.

Lowell K started on the mound for LCP KNIGHTS 12U. The starter allowed three hits and six runs (three earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one. Derek C stepped on the hill first for Ctx Wolfpack. The hurler surrendered zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out none and walking none. Aaron R tossed one and one-third innings of zero-run ball for LCP KNIGHTS 12U in relief. The pitcher allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking two.

Miles V and Auggy M each drove in two runs for LCP KNIGHTS 12U. Breck R led LCP KNIGHTS 12U with two hits in three at bats. LCP KNIGHTS 12U had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Carson S and Jonah S led the team with two walks each.

Wyatt P, Levi C, and Colton N each collected one hit for Ctx Wolfpack. Wyatt P, Gunner W, Levi C, and Luke S each drove in one run for Ctx Wolfpack. Brody M stole two bases. Ctx Wolfpack ran wild on the base paths, amassing six stolen bases for the game.
